Meeting September 16th!
Posted September 24, 2010The Business & Information Technology (BIT) Club is having its Fall Welcome Meeting and Kick-Off on Thursday, September 16th.
The event, which will be held in the College of Business Auditorium (Rooms 107/208) during X-period (1:40 - 2:30 p.m.), is open to all majors on campus.
Mr. David Roberts, Account Manager (Enterprise Servers, Storage, and Networking) for Hewlett-Packard Company, will be the featured speaker. David is a recent graduate of our MIS program in the College of Business. HP, the world’s largest computer company, has made a substantial new investment in the city of Conway that will provide jobs for UCA graduates as well as other professionals.
Refreshments will be served and door prizes will be awarded.
All students, faculty, and staff are welcome to attend.

Upcoming Meeting
Posted September 24, 2010The UCA Business & Information Technology (BIT) Club is having its final meeting of the semester on Thursday, April 15th, during X-period.
The event, which is open to all majors on campus, will be held in new College of Business Auditorium (room 107 / 208).
We are pleased to welcome Mr. Robert E. Girard from EMC Corporation as our featured speaker. Mr. Girard has decades of IT experience including stints at Acxiom in Conway, Baptist Medical Systems in Little Rock, and Saudi Aramco in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
We will also elect officers for next year and plan our field trip to the Dillard’s Data Center in Little Rock, scheduled for Tuesday, April 20th. Refreshments (pizza!) will be served and door prizes will be awarded.
All students, faculty, and staff are invited to attend.
