Meeting - November 17th

The UCA Business & Information Technology (BIT) Club is having its final meeting of the semester on Thursday, November 17th, during X-period (1:40 - 2:30 p.m.).

The event, which is open to all majors on campus, will be held in the College of Business Auditorium (Rooms 107/208). We will have our once-per-semester PIZZA bash and, in addition, welcome a mystery guest speaker to deliver a few remarks.

Refreshments will be served and door prizes will be awarded!

All students, faculty, and staff are invited to attend.

Meeting - October 27th

The Business & Information Technology (BIT) Club is having its second meeting of the semester on Thursday, October 27th.

The event, which will be held in the College of Business Auditorium (Rooms 107/208) during X-period (1:40 - 2:30 p.m.), is open to all majors on campus.

Mr. Paul Montrose, Senior IT Security Professional at Acxiom, will be the featured speaker. Mr. Montrose gave a very enlightening presentation to us a few years ago and we are delighted to welcome him back to campus. Refreshments will be served and door prizes will be awarded.

Meeting - September 22nd!

The Business & Information Technology (BIT) Club is having its Fall Welcome Meeting and Kick-Off on Thursday, September 22nd.

The event, which will be held in the College of Business Auditorium (Rooms 107/208) during X-period (1:40 - 2:30 p.m.), is open to all majors on campus.

Mr. Caleb Duvall, corporate recruiting manager for J. B. Hunt Transport, Inc, will be the featured speaker. Caleb is a recent graduate of our College of Business and we are delighted to welcome him back to campus.

Refreshments will be served and door prizes will be awarded. All students, faculty, and staff are invited to attend.

Meeting - April 12th

The UCA Business & Information Technology (BIT) Club is having its final meeting of the semester on Tuesday, April 12th, during X-period (1:40 - 2:30 p.m.).

The event, which is open to all majors on campus, will be held in College of Business Auditorium (Rooms 107/208).

We will elect officers for next year and plan our field trip to Acxiom, tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, April 19th. In addition, we will welcome a mystery guest speaker to deliver a few remarks. :)

Refreshments (PIZZA!) will be served and door prizes will be awarded.

Meeting - March 15th!

The UCA Business & Information Technology (BIT) Club is having their third meeting of the semester on Tuesday, March 15th, during X-period.

The event, which is open to all majors on campus, will be held in new College of Business Auditorium (room 107 / 208).

Phi Beta Lambda is co-hosting the event.

We are pleased to welcome Mr. Stephen Svetz from the Attorney General’s Office as our featured speaker. Mr. Svetz will be speaking on Cyberbullying and will offer valuable insights from his experience working for the state of Arkansas.

Light refreshments will be served.

All students, faculty, and staff are invited to attend.
