10 & 12 April - Dillard’s IT & Wal-Mart Information Services
Posted April 5, 2012The UCA Business & Information Technology (BIT) Club is having its final meetings of the semester on Tuesday and Thursday (April 10th and April 12th), during X-period (1:40 - 2:30 p.m.).
The events, which are open to all majors on campus, will be held in the College of Business Auditorium (Rooms 107/208).
On Tuesday we welcome Woody Chin, the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Dillard’s Department Stores in Little Rock. In addition to our regular refreshments and door prizes, we are also giving away an iPod Nano!
On Thursday we are pleased to welcome Levey L. Williams from the corporate offices of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. in Bentonville. Levey is a Recruiter (Campus Relations) for Wal-Mart’s Information Services Division.
These gentlemen are two of the highest marquee speakers that the BIT Club has ever had the pleasure of hosting.
We will have our once-per-semester PIZZA bash on Thursday, elect officers for next year, and discuss our upcoming field trip to the Dillard’s Data Center in Little Rock on April 17th.
Refreshments will be served and door prizes will be awarded at both events.
All students, faculty, and staff are invited to attend.
